    Band Concert

    Costume Concert for a Cause
    Thursday, October 30
    The Eighth Grade Band and Jazz Band of Camden Middle School are looking forward to our Costume Concert For a Cause onThursday, October 30th at 6:30 PM in the CMS Gym. Elementary and middle school students are invited to come in costume and enter a costume contest if they would like. Admission is one canned good per person or $2 with all proceeds going to Christian Community Ministries. Please bring your favorite ghost or goblin and join us for a night of "boo-tiful" music for a great cause!

    Author John Thompson, aka J. E. Thompson visited CMS October 29
    Thompson visited 6th grade students presenting his thoughts on successfully writing novels.  His book The Girl from Felony Bay is an exciting, fast paced mystery set in the low country of South Carolina. It has won the Southern Indie Book Association's award for Best Children's book of the year.  Signed copies are for sale in the CMS Library for $6.00.

    We are very proud to announce that Mrs. Barbara Culler has been selected by the CMS faculty as Camden Middle's Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Culler teaches 6th Grade Reading and is a valued member of our staff.
